My name is Carolyn White and I am the owner of Carolyn White Wellness, where I train, coach and motivate people to lead a healthier, more vibrant life. I am a Can-Fit Pro-Certified Personal Trainer, TRX-certified instructor, Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, Certified METAFIT Coach, and Precision Nutrition Level I candidate.
Over the past 5 years, I have provided fitness and nutrition services to help hundreds of women achieve their health goals. I have the best job in the world because I get to empower and motivate people to become the best version of themselves. It's a profession and a passion that I grew into later in life.
My own personal health journey and commitment to a healthier lifestyle began after the birth of my second daughter. Eight months post-baby, I became involved in boot camp-style workouts as a client. It was the first workout regime that "stuck". I got into the best shape of my life, gained energy to keep up with my growing family, and found camaraderie, inspiration and accountability with like-minded women. The transformation was both physical and emotional. I eventually developed the confidence to earn my certification as a Personal Trainer and quit my corporate marketing job to pursue a healthier work-life balance and my new passion for health & fitness.
Firm Believers Fitness Bootcamp
As the founder and trainer at Firm Believers Fitness Bootcamp, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of women of all ages, varying levels of fitness, life-stages and backgrounds. It is a true blessing to be able to EMPOWER, ENCOURAGE, and EQUIP these women to set and achieve their personal health and fitness goals and to see some incredible physical and emotional transformations.
In 2013, my wellness journey broadened to include holistic nutrition. As a personal trainer and mom, I wanted to expand the positive impact I could have to include teaching my clients and my family how to eat to support lifelong health. I enrolled in the Culinary Nutrition Expert (CNE) program at The Academy of Culinary Nutrition and earned my CNE designation; a curiosity for all things nutrition; a great appreciation for recipe developers; a love of meal planning and prep; and a vast knowledge of all things nutrition. I am currently broadening my learning through the Precision Nutrition Level I Certification Program.
I believe that optimal wellness involves a balance between fitness, nutrition, and spiritual health. I believe that fitness should be a lifestyle and that our bodies were made to move. That we should find things we love and do at least one of them, every day. I believe that we should eat food as close to its natural growing state as possible, that we would all benefit from growing a garden or making friends with someone who does, and that we learn a lot about ourselves and each other when we take the time to sit down and share a meal together. I believe that nurturing the soul is just as important as fitness and nutrition to overall wellness and that health on the outside isn't fully possible if we aren't first healthy within.
I am deeply grateful to be able to inspire and be inspired by so many strong women. As females, we are pulled in many different directions and often spend much of our energy taking care of others. I firmly believe that we are the life-givers and soul-nurturers in our relationships, families, friendships, and work places. When we make taking care of ourselves a top priority, we are better equipped to take care of others. To ignite positive change. To make the future brighter.
I am richly blessed with an amazing husband and two beautiful-from-the-inside-out little girls. They are my loudest cheerleaders and the best support system. I am a proud woman of faith with a desire to be better and do better every day, by God's grace and because of His unconditional love.
